Drama Kids Cambridge

Nicola is a highly qualified Drama and Theatre Lecturer, who has taught in universities and led Theatre programmes for over 25 years. She has worked on over 75 professional productions mainly in London, as a Director, Designer and Producer. Nicola enjoys working with children and young people and has directed youth theatre projects across the Hertfordshire County. Nicola loves her new role with the fantastic Drama Kids and finds it exciting to work with young talent, she can’t wait to see the shows that the groups have been working so hard on!

Maddie has been passionate about performing from a young age, taking part in a wide range of productions throughout her life. She holds a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performance and Production Arts, graduating with Distinction. Building on her college experience, Maddie went on to train at Mountview drama school, where she further developed her skills and deepened her understanding of performance. Her time at Mountview not only strengthened her craft but also ignited a passion for teaching. Maddie has since achieved a Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Assessing and is now dedicated to inspiring and supporting the next generation of performers.

Abbie has been performing since she was very young in a variety of amateur productions. After leaving school she went on to achieve her Diploma in Musical Theatre and went on to perform professionally. As well as performing, Abbie has over 10 years’ experience working with early years children. Abbie has worked teaching and directing for LDC and The young Actors company for the past five years. It is here that Abbie discovered her passion for leading workshops and where she made her directorial debut with their first full scale production of Annie JR and Matilda JR. Abbie is thrilled to be joining Drama kids and loves to help our actors build confidence, discover their creativity, learn new skills and most importantly have fun!

Bethany began her professional journey in the performing arts at a young age, attending Sylvia Young Theatre School full-time from age 10, where she became Head Girl. She has been performing professionally since the age of 7 in musicals, film, and TV, with credits including Disney Channel UK, Warner Bros, BBC, and Channel 4. Alongside her work, she trained at Bodywork Company Cambridge, earning the Triple Threat Award. Her stage experience includes Hairspray, Sister Act, Rapunzel the Musical, The Producers, and Singing in the Rain, plus numerous pantos, UK tours, and international performances in the Caribbean. She has also written and performed in new children’s musicals. Bethany has been teaching since the age of 15, covering drama, singing, musical theatre, tap, jazz, and ballet for students aged 2 to 75+. She combines her professional experience with a passion for teaching, offering creative, engaging, and confidence-building lessons that encourage students to push their boundaries and grow.

Abi has been immersed in the world of theatre since the age of five, attending multiple theatre schools and nurturing a deep passion for the performing arts. Her talent and dedication have led her to perform at prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall and The Palladium, marking a lifelong love for the stage. For five rewarding years, Abi ran her own children’s company, where she used imagination, play, and creativity to help young people build confidence and learn about wellbeing through engaging workshops. Today, she brings that same passion and experience to the Drama Kids family, where she thrives in sharing her love of theatre and inspiring the next generation of performers.
