Meet the team

Meet our Principal

My name is Simon Long, and I’m proud to be Principal of Drama Kids Croydon, where my journey began at age five. As a shy child, Drama Kids gave me confidence, friendships, and a love of drama that’s shaped my life. I became a teacher in 2013 and, in 2023, was honoured to return as Principal. Leading the academy that once felt like my second home is a privilege, and I love seeing children grow in confidence, creativity, and communication just as I did. Outside Drama Kids, I perform in local theatre, with musicals and plays still a huge passion. Drama remains the heartbeat of my life, and I feel lucky to share that joy with the next generation.
