Meet the team

Meet our Principal

Lauren Steel has been Principal at Drama Kids since 2017, winning Franchisee of the Year 2025 and the Innovation Award 2022. Her journey began in 1996 as a student at Drama Kids (then Helen O’Grady Drama Academy), later earning a BA Hons in Performing Arts. She went on to perform on stage and screen worldwide before becoming an entertainment manager. Lauren credits Drama Kids with building her confidence and is proud to now bring its inclusive, inspiring curriculum to South Yorkshire. She loves watching students grow in confidence, communication, and creativity each week. Lauren and her team can’t wait to welcome you!
