Our Primary mixed-age classes bring together children from two close age groups, creating a fun, dynamic, and supportive learning environment. Each activity is designed so every child can join in and progress at their own pace. These classes follow our full curriculum, blending speech, movement, improvisation, and performance skills, while giving teachers the flexibility to adapt to the group’s needs.

Meet our Principal

Hi, I’m Louise, Principal of Drama Kids Monmouthshire & Newport. Originally from Yarm in the North East, I’ve lived in Cardiff for 14 years with my Welsh husband and our two children. Before becoming Principal, I taught for the Academy (formerly Helen O’Grady Drama Academy) for 7 years — and I’ve now proudly been Principal for 3! A whole decade of teaching drama and enriching young people through our amazing curriculum truly is the most rewarding job ever. Growing up, I often lacked confidence but loved being creative, and seeing my students grow, express themselves, and find their voice reminds me every day why I love what I do.
