Worried About Your Child Putting Their Hand Up At School?

Does your child know the answer… but never puts their hand up? 💭

Maybe they’re worried about getting it wrong. About being noticed. About what other people might think.

My daughter didn’t put her hand up at school when she was 7 – so I enrolled her at Drama Kids (then the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy) and those sessions gradually gave her the confidence to start contributing in class.

Since that time I’ve heard many parents of the children we teach say the exact same thing. Drama has helped them be more confident at school.

Our Development Through Drama programme gives children a safe, supportive space to find their voice — without pressure or judgement. 💙

Through drama, improvisation and creative activities, we help children build the confidence to:
✨ Speak up
✨ Express their ideas
✨ Trust themselves
✨ Feel comfortable being seen and heard

🎭 Give them a place to belong.
