Our Curriculum

Our educational drama curriculum builds practical life skills children use every day: speaking up, taking turns, listening with empathy, shaping ideas, solving problems creatively, and working well in a group. All through a progressive, term-by-term approach.

Developing communication skills

WHAT WE TEACH

Our programme uses educational drama to develop practical life skills: clear communication, collaboration, emotional awareness, resilience and creative problem-solving. Children and young people practise these skills through role play, discussion, storytelling, character work and scene-building, guided by trained teachers. Lessons follow a consistent approach so students can settle quickly, practise regularly, and build capability step by step.

We follow an academic term structure, but new students are welcome to join at any point. Across the year, work develops from short activities and scenes into more sustained projects and end-of-term sharing.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS

How Our Classes Work

Every class follows a familiar rhythm, so children know what to expect and can take part with confidence. Within that structure, teachers introduce new themes and challenges, so learning stays purposeful and skills keep moving forward.

Across the age groups, our programme is designed to progress year on year. Children can join at any stage and continue through to 18 without repeating the same lesson. Over time, you’ll see students take on longer tasks, contribute more independently in groups, and share work with growing clarity.
