Aardman Workshops
One of our past “In The Studio” highlights was an exclusive 3-hour stop motion animation and drama workshop in partnership with the award-winning creators of Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep — Aardman.
Stage Combat (Non-Contact) with RC-Annie
Our Stage Combat workshop gave young performers the chance to experience the thrill of action scenes in a safe and controlled environment. Led by industry professionals, students explored the foundations of theatrical combat, learning how to create realistic fight sequences through technique, timing and teamwork.
Stop-Motion Storytelling
Created with Aardman Animations, this workshop introduces children to how stories move from idea to screen. They explore character creation and storyboarding, then collaborate to bring a short stop-motion scene to life, blending animation with live performance skills.
Stage Combat Workshop
Delivered with RC-Annie, children learn non-contact stage combat in a safe, structured setting. They practise controlled movement, timing and teamwork to choreograph action moments that look convincing while staying fully supervised and age-appropriate.
