Franchisee Seminar 2023 with Drama Kids
Our network gathered for our national Franchisee Seminar on Sunday 23rd July at the Marriot Hotel, Heathrow.
Focused on ‘Forging our Future’, the event provided Principals with the opportunity to examine ways to grow and diversify their business, explore new marketing opportunities, as well as network with each other and the Head Office team. Franchisees were joined by Helen Enright, COO of Trafalgar Entertainment and Lisa Stead, COO for Trafalgar Education, as well as several other members of the Trafalgar Education Team.
Award Winners
As well as focusing on business growth and networking, the event was a celebration of the achievements of franchisees, with the presentation of awards to the following Principals:
Beth Daniel, North Leicester – Inspiration
Gareth Corke and Jon Daly, Sussex – Innovation
Ian Brown, Croydon and Nick Chadwin, Sheffield – Outstanding Achievement
Katie Anderson, Gloucestershire – Franchisee of the Year 2023
Whilst the Drama Kids network celebrated their recent rebrand and the beginning of an exciting new chapter, the event was particularly poignant as we said a fond farewell to two long-standing Principal, Ian Brown and Nick Chadwin. Nick has run a highly successful branch in Sheffield for 20 years and Ian was our company’s first UK based franchisee in Croydon. Ian purchased his Academy in 1994 has recently sold the branch to longtime student and teacher, Simon Long, who has been part of the Academy since 1997!
In the evening the Franchisees enjoyed a 1920’s murder mystery event, in line with one of the themes of a play from our recent production term. A great evening was had by all, rounded off with karaoke!
